On July 17, Angile Energy, in collaboration with Guangzhou Hengyun, proudly inaugurated a landmark 9.5MW/18.389MWh Commercial and Industrial Energy Storage Project at the Hunan Zhongke Shinzoom Co., Ltd facility.
The successful deployment of this advanced energy storage solution marks an important achievement for Angile Energy, highlighting its dedication to promoting renewable energy and supporting the low-carbon transition in the commercial and industrial sectors. The project showcases critical capabilities for managing peak energy demand, smoothing grid fluctuations, and demonstrating the practicality of large-scale energy storage integration within the regional power grid.
As Ningxiang City’s (Changsha) largest Commercial and Industrial Energy Storage facility, this project boasts an impressive installed capacity of 9.5MW/18.389MWh. It consists of three 2.5MW/5.015MWh and one 2MW/3.344MWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery units, each integrated with a Battery Management System (BMS) and 2.5MW/2MW Power Conversion System (PCS). These components are strategically located at Hunan Zhongke Shinzoom Co., Ltd site.
Initiated by Hunan Zhongke Shinzoom Co., Ltd, the project was delivered through a strategic partnership between Angile Energy and Guangzhou Hengyun Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. Angile Energy acted as the primary integrator, providing comprehensive source-grid-load-storage solutions throughout the entire process—from the initial Energy Management Contract (EMC) agreement and regulatory filings to construction, testing, commissioning, and operation. Remarkably, the entire project was completed in approximately 120 days, underscoring Angile Energy’s expertise in delivering sophisticated energy storage projects.
Between June 23 and July 16, 2025, during the 24-day commissioning phase, the system successfully managed around 700MWh of cumulative energy storage and discharged approximately 600MWh, achieving an overall efficiency of about 88%. The project is projected to generate annual revenues of approximately RMB 6 million.
This innovative Commercial and Industrial Energy Storage initiative clearly demonstrates Angile Energy’s commitment to sustainable energy practices, significantly enhancing grid stability and supporting enterprises in transitioning to a greener and more resilient energy future.
